🕯️✨ The Samhain Ritual Candle ✨🕯️
30cm • Hand-dressed • Witchcrafted by Salem’s Shack
As autumn slips into shadow and the veil between worlds grows thin, Samhain invites us to remember, release and begin again. 🍂🌙
This enchanting 30cm Samhain Ritual Candle has been created as a little beacon in the darkness—a candle for honouring those who walked before us, protecting the space around us and gently letting go of what we no longer wish to carry into the turning year.
🤍 White candle — A light in the darkness, representing spirit, peace, purification and guidance.
🖤 Black wax — For protection, banishing and release; carrying away old energies as we enter the darker half of the year.
🧡 Orange wax — The glow of the Samhain fire, bringing courage, warmth, vitality and transformation.
✨ Gold wax — A touch of magic amongst the shadows, symbolising blessings, illumination, abundance and the wisdom carried from one season into the next.
🦇 Silver-coloured bat charm — A tiny guardian of the twilight. The bat represents intuition, transformation, navigating the unseen and finding your way through the darkness.
🌿 Witchy botanicals — A whisper of the wild earth, honouring nature’s eternal dance of life, death, rest and rebirth while connecting the candle to old botanical and magical traditions.
🖤 Black twine — Wrapped around the candle to symbolically bind its intentions together, representing protection, connection and the invisible threads between past, present and future.
🌙 Inscribed Samhain symbol — Carved into the wax to dedicate the candle to this sacred turning of the Wheel, carrying intentions of remembrance, reflection, protection and renewal.
🔩 Silver-coloured nail — Pushed into the wax as a symbol of strength, protection and anchoring intention. Inspired by the protective associations of iron and nails in folklore and folk magic, it represents fixing your intention firmly in place.
And so, when the nights grow longer and autumn leaves gather at the door, light your candle and remember:
Not everything that ends is lost.
Some things become wisdom.
Some become memories.
Some become roots.
And some simply make space for a little new magic to begin. 🍂✨
🌙 Samhain Affirmation
“I honour those who walked before me.
I release what is ready to leave.
I am protected as I cross this threshold.
I carry the wisdom of the past within me,
and welcome the magic of all that is yet to come.”
For ritual and decorative use. Please remove the charm, twine, nail and loose botanicals before burning. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
